Henry Wendell GEORGE, born 17 January 1898, Newark, Essex County, New Jersey; died 7 May 1934, Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. He married Enola SANCHEZ. They had two children: Henry David GEORGE and Doris Cecile GEORGE.
Nellie Gertrude GEORGE, born 5 November 1901, New Jersey; died 24 August 1986, Biloxi, Harrison County, Mississippi. She married Harry Clayton MABRY. They had three children: Elsie M. MABRY, Elmer George MABRY, and Daniel Thomas MABRY.
Blanche GEORGE, born 2 September 1907, Pensacola, Escambia County, Florida. She died in childhood. (Still searching for death information.)
The family moved to Newark, Essex County, New Jersey, in the late 1890s, and lived Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey, circa 1902-1905. In 1907, they were in Pensacola, Florida, where their youngest child, Blanche GEORGE, was born. Blanche HORTON’s mother, Lucy Ann CRISSY (Mrs. Daniel HORTON, widow) and Blanche’s sister, Mary Elizabeth HORTON (Mrs. William Edward MYERS) had moved to Pensacola several years previously. Lucy and Mary Elizabeth resided there until their deaths in 1926 and 1961, respectively.
2) Blanche C. HORTON married Roy WALLACE (before 1926).
Blanche lived in Corpus Christi, Texas, circa 1923, and in Kerrville, Texas, in 1930, before relocating to Biloxi, Mississippi, circa 1933 where she resided until her death in 1945.
Blanche C. HORTON died as Mrs. Blanche Wallace, widow, on Sunday, 13 May 1945, in Biloxi, Harrison County, Mississippi, where she had lived for 12 years. She was interred in Biloxi City Cemetery, Biloxi, on Tuesday, 15 May 1945. She was survived by her daughter, Mrs. Nellie Mabry, five known grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her sister Mary Elizabeth HORTON Myers of Pensacola, Florida, and her brother Frank HORTON of Mount Olive, Illinois.
